Skeets, Tas, and Tony
The boys from the Basketball Jones are in Phoenix this weekend covering the All-Star game and they happened to catch up with Tony Parker at some Subway in the suburbs (he was there doing some promotional thing but I really wish they had just bumped into him at Subway). For their first live interview with an NBA player, I’ve got to admit it’s pretty good.

What?!? No Villeurbanne questions?
I’m deflated.

Half entertaining, half makes me respect Tony more because he was patient and tolerant when annoying strangers immediately start cracking lead balloon jokes about how Tony should feel as proud of their interview as making the All-Star team, Oberto’s beard and personal topics like his home being up for sale. What do normal fans care about any of those things? You have money on the skills challenge? (sarcastically) So glad you let Tony know. Interviewers like these are the price of fame, I guess.

It eez unbelievable.
When he’s not posing shirtless holding a golden ball, Tony comes across as a nice guy. It’s a wonder to think that this guy is considered the Spurs’ diva… We really have something special going in SA.
The BB Jones guys weren’t all that bad, Chill. Maybe they were trying a bit too hard to be funny, but Tony handled himself perfectly, and they didn’t outright insult anyone. As Graydon said, I thought it was good for a rookie interview.
