After taking a look at that tape of Manu practicing, I think he still looks uncomfortable. You can tell there's still a slight limp when he jogs, and his running form looks pretty heavy. I don't care if he doesn't come back for the rest of the season. I just want a healthy Manu for the playoffs.

This twitter thing is making my head spin. I saw from Fab's list of contacts (or followers, whatever) that Bruce Bowen also has one. It really is taking fan interactivity to another level.

But I digress. Manu looks fine in practice and seeing him going through the motions with Gooden gives me a bit of hope heading into the money season.

Even at the second seed in the western conference this season was looking a little blurry to me. With manu gearing up to come back , things might just become a little clearer.

Johnny,

Yes, it is awesome.

And, of course, you're right about "tweet." As you can tell, I'm a little late to the party.

Awesome news!

(Also, I believe it's spelled "tweet," not "tweat.")

I really don't care what the Spurs strategy is on injuries, New England is also playing the injury game and it works for them most of the time. All I ask for is that everybody is healthy come playoffs time and then the Spurs can make a real run for the title - otherwise any effort will be short-lived.

I have the impression that for whatever reason Pop doesn't care at all about the seeding this year and that the Ginobili injury has been carefully "staged" to let me him rest and let everybody think he would not make it back in time, when I'm pretty sure he was actually quite healthy. On one hand Pop was saying he would be worried if Gino was not practicing today, and in the same interview said Manu was practicing and joining the team on the road trip (last week). So I'm pretty sure that Manu is 100% healthy and Pop is resting him, bringing him back just in time to get back his rhythm.

I have absolutely no problems with Pop resting Duncan, Ginobli, Parker or anyone else as he sees fit - the only thing I ask for is that we are given accurate, periodic updates so that we are not scavenging around for info as we typically are with the Spurs.

That said, this is great news!

That line makes my heart soar.

Three days ago, an Argentinian newspaper said that Manu would be back in a week. But we don't know how seriously we should take that.

Mike Monroe mentioned the other day during the game chat that fans and media should be receiving updates related to Manu's health on Monday...

I couldn't find the source but my dad told me that he read on Argentine media that Manu was ready to play tomorrow against the Celts...I wouldn't trust that...

...but there are a couple things that disturb me...

Manu replied to questions in his forum and one of his replies said that he NEVER wore a boot...but Express News quoted Pop mentioning that he was off the boot...
