Fines, Cartoons, and Game-Threads
Erick Dampier did not receive a fine for his comments about Tony Parker. Meanwhile, the gentlemen over at Garbage-Time All-Stars (via Ball Don’t Lie) did an excellent job (as always) satirizing the whole the whole ordeal:
Leave your thoughts during and after the game in the comments section. I’ll be back later this evening with a recap. Go Spurs.

At the half. This is too painful to watch. Dallas is doing the exact same thing we did to them in game 2. It’s like deja vu, some very sick, twisted, horribly twisted deja vu.

Instead of my thoughts, can I leave a hot-n-fresh, toasted Subway Italian BMT in the comments section the same way the Spurs left a huge, stinking turd on Dallas’ home floor?

Hmm… my thoughts… my thoughts… I don’t really want to think about this game. Let’s panic instead.

Game over, lots of frustration, including JV outshining the poor play of George Hill in the second half. Pass to no one or worse. Bad shots, rebounds, followed by worse shots. Saturday can’t come soon enough.

I will continue the subdued sadness that is permeating this comment section.
My Love scolded me for yelling some very choice words when the Mavs started the game hitting 4 shots in a row. She again scolded me for yelling some very choice words when the Mavs started the second half by hitting 4 shots in a row. So I left the house. Of course, my two former roommates are both diehard Mavs fans and they wouldn’t leave me alone. I finally just sent the requisite “one game does not 4 championships make” text in reply before turning off my phone.
*sigh*
On a positive note, My Love bought us tickets for Game 5.
