I understand why he wanted to play for his country in the Olympics but lets get real, thats where all this started getting out of hand and its made me salty towards Manu. The Spurs are paying this guy alot of money and I think him playing in the Olympics is where all this began. Thanks for everything Manu..but the past is the past. Ginobili has played too much basketball over the last 5 years between deep playoff runs and the international competitions. Manu needed exactly what he got basically a year off to just rest and heal. When he comes back next season he will be hearing all the doubters and playing for a new contract. A motivated Manu will be unstoppable. The injury could be a blessing in disguise.
