If you’re counting down the hours until the NBA preseason tips, Canada vs. Brazil might help the time pass. Canada is outmatched in this one, and I expect Anderson Varejao and Tiago Splitter to dominate. If you’re interested, the game is on 360.

I watched the majority of the game. Splitter injured his knee with about 25 seconds to go in the 1st half, then returned late in the 2nd half to finish out the game, despite hobbling around and moving gingerly.
I have no information on the extent of the injury, but hopefully it doesn’t prohibit him throughout the remainder of the tournament or the start of his season.
