Rest easy, dear friends.
According to the Spurs, Ian Mahinmi has a left hip contusion. But it’s nothing serious. In fact, he might already be cleared to play.

Thank God. I was pretty concerned about the injury. The last thing Mahinmi needs (in what might be his “break-out year”) is another injury.

I thought it was a harmstring injury… But just the same I’m glad Ian has recovered quickly… Now he can focus on playing.

This is good news. I was already under the impression that it was really just a minor injury. Hopefully people don’t still give him flack for being “soft.” People were more than simply overreacting about this.

Sketchy French media.. completely scheming!!!
“Update: We’ve spoken with Bouna Ndiaye, Ian Mahinmi’s agent, and can CONFIRM that Mahinmi strained his hamstring during last night’s game against Germany. ”
..and actually, it feels more like some people are overreacting to the ones, who understandably, call him injury-prone, or simply, ’soft’ so far in his career.
