Rest easy, dear friends.

According to the Spurs, Ian Mahinmi has a left hip contusion. But it’s nothing serious. In fact, he might already be cleared to play.

  • Thank God. I was pretty concerned about the injury. The last thing Mahinmi needs (in what might be his “break-out year”) is another injury.

  • I thought it was a harmstring injury… But just the same I’m glad Ian has recovered quickly… Now he can focus on playing.

  • This is good news. I was already under the impression that it was really just a minor injury. Hopefully people don’t still give him flack for being “soft.” People were more than simply overreacting about this.

    ..and actually, it feels more like some people are overreacting to the ones, who understandably, call him injury-prone, or simply, ’soft’ so far in his career.
