My brother took a hand held tv (pre iphone) to my high school graduation so he could watch the draft lottery. Mid way through the ceremony he held up a single finger and I stood up and celebrated, everyone stared at me but I didn’t care because we just won the lottery and Mr. Tim Duncan!
i remember the day of the draft lottery vividly. i was 15 at the time and when we got that pick. i sprinted up and down my street in Schertz screaming, “we got TIM DUNCAN!” so all would hear. little did i know it would turn out this well. damn i love this organization.

Unless you go back and watch Tim from 97-2001, it’s easy to forget that he was once very athletic. That photo is a nice reminder.
