Alvin...so many thoughts...I imagine he was a PER monster...quadruple double...can we refer to the Alvin era as the Dark Age for the franchise?...I recall at Dr. J's last game at the Hemisfair (which sadly he didn't even play in) Alvin hit a last second 3 to win the game, which prompted the fans to chant his name in a way very similar to when Ninja hit the Memorial Day Miracle...and finally, can we ever know who pulled the butter knife - Alvin or Walter Berry?

long ago, far away...one of the few spurs games i have ever seen in person, at the hemisfair arena late in a dismal season...we got great seats from some season ticketholders with some spares...and the spurs beat the division-leading jazz that night. alvin stole the ball and went for 2 at the other end, must've been 8 or 9 times...he was so quck they couldn't catch him to foul him...no fooling. it was nuts. that game was such fun!!!!

I've never seen Alvin Robertson until now. I've only read his wiki, which doesn't have a picture. I thought he was Sean at first, but that hair, throwback jerseys, and number had me scratching my head.
