MLK Day Live Chat
I hope you’re enjoying today’s slate of games. The Spurs are gonna go to work on the Hornets in a few minutes; meanwhile I’ll be over at ESPN taking part in the Daily Dime Live Chat. Stop on by if you have a few minutes. Also, take some time to reflect on Dr. King and the full scope of his thought.

I was surprised that RJ wasn’t in the line up. Apparently he’s been bothered with a back injury - http://www.fanfeedr.com/nba/2010/01/18/richard-jefferson-out-with-back-spasms
Does anyone have an inside knowledge on the severity of his injury? As if it wasn’t bad enough that Manu’s struggling on offence and TP is playing with a bad foot…

Notice the theme of the 2 road wins, nobody taller than 6′9 was on the court! (Emeka Okafor for some reason sat the 2nd half.) Notice how Parker and Blair have a field day with no one over 6′9 on the floor? At least Pop stayed with 2 bigs except for only 1 possession, but of course Ginobili got posted up for a layup by Songalia.
Depressing watching the blown 17 pt lead to start the 4th. Hill, Mason, Bogans, Bonner, and McDyess looked scared to dribble, pass, or shoot as a team. It was ugly.
I hope the Spurs submit tape to the league of James Posey’s 3 dirty plays. Intentionally hitting Ginobili in the nose on a fast break, intentionally tripping Duncan on a made layup, and intentionally tripping Parker on a screen and roll. Posey deserves a game suspension for that crap. Stern better do something.
