Party in Austin
We would be remiss not to encourage our Austin readers to join our very own Andrew McNeill and the guys from PtR at tomorrow night’s Toros game. But there is more of an inducement than dear old Andrew, as charming as he is. Pounding the Rock is setting up shop, in part, to welcome LatinD to America. LatinD, whose real name is David, is a friend and one of the best Spurs writers going. And he flew in from Argentina to catch a Spurs game. Give a little love. And besides, the Toros are offering tickets for $3 in honor of Dennis Johnson. So in review: Toros, McNeill, LatinD, PtR, $3 tickets, Thursday night at 7:30.
Wait, I’m also told it’s Hispanic Heritage Night. And people will be taking Gatorade shots from Wayne Vore’s belly button. One of those two things is true. (If it’s the Gatorade thing, David, all I can say is that it’s America, and that’s the best we have to offer. Welcome.)

I just want to let you guys know that there is a full bar at the Toros games.
I’m not against stepping it up from the Gatorade and going with the hard stuff on the belly button shots. Just saying.
