A Toast: To Good Writers and Good Friends
I just wanted to take a moment and draw your attention to NBC’s newly launched ProBasketballTalk. I’m doing so not only because, on this, its first day of publication, the men steering that recently christened ship are already doing an excellent job, but because I’m proud to call them my friends.
If I had to put together a team of writers to cover the NBA, Kurt Helin, Matt Moore, Rob Mahoney, and John Krolik would be the first people I would call. Lo and behold, when Kurt was asked to put together a team of writers to cover the NBA, who did he call: Matt Moore, Rob Mahoney, and John Krolik (and Ira Winderman, whoever that is).
Kurt, Matt, Rob and John are some of the finest NBA writers on the internet, and I am very excited their excellent work is getting the recognition it deserves. Give ‘em hell, boys.

It’s a wonderful site.
Theres a cavalcade of great material on there already. I just hope those hacks keep pounding out the material when the blooms off the rose! Just a joke i promise.
Very nice addition to the bookmark folder.

probasketballtalk is a total waste of time
they’re just quoting the same stories that everyone else already quotes
on day one they posted about a million stories, total overkill, and all the ones that actually matter were aleady on other sites
they are adding nothing but clutter to the world of sports sites

They are not quoting the same stories everyone else quotes.
They tend to be the guys who write the actual stories.
I.E Kurt Helin, Matt Moore, Rob Mahoney, and John Krolik are regularly linked to on sites such as Truehoop or the SBNation blogosphere.
