  • Just FYI (Because I know we’re gonna get this), we know it’s the Southwest Division, not conference. Andrew’s poking fun of me because I accidentally said that in an email.

    Speaking of which, Hook ‘em!

  • I think if we can get a winning streak going, then we can possibly have to play our last game against dallas for the southwest division. That would be a great playoff preview!

  • Great Podcast guys. Hell yeah Hook ‘em Horns!

  • ahh, the good ol’e SWC. i’ll third the hook ‘em!

  • [...] Minutes of Hell recently started up a Spurs podcast, and I joined Graydon Gordian and Andrew McNeil on the most recent episode with to discuss the Mavs latest moves, Mavs-Spurs, how Dallas matches up with L.A., and NBA players [...]

  • I don’t know why…. but something is telling me that this team will in fact be a contender… don’t know why because the team is def not showing any signs yet.. call it a hunch!!!

  • hey guys, next step… http://www.ustream.tv so we’ll get to see ya… you guys can be on TV :)

  • Please change the intro music, I’m trying to get my friends to add these to their podcasts lineup, don’t embarass me!

  • Thank you for discussing taking the division from Dallas for this team to have a chance. Of course with Dallas’s loaded talent and the Spurs’ penchant for losing…sad.

    Love the podcast fellas.

The only thing I disagreed with was the take on international basketball.

To use your example, if Chris Paul decided not to play fir the MNT it would not be a big deal because the U.S. would still have Deron Williams, Derick Rose, John Wall, Chauncey Billups, etc.

I also think the France-Germany comparison was a little weak. France has 12 players! playing in the NBA while Germany has 1. I get that Dirk and TP are the best players for their respective teams, but France has more talent therefore they need Tony less than Germany needs Dirk.

Anyway, the main point is Tony should be allowed to be criticized by us fans because we support the franchise that pays his salary. Plus, don’t we all just want to see TP of last year?

Rest up Tony. France won’t even notice you’re not there this summer with the World Cup going on.

  • Nice job guys. I kind of wonder if Tony will ever take over the reins of this team when he seems to keep putting himself in danger of injury with the French team. I understand he has a lot of pride for his country, but we also need him healthy in San Antonio. Tough one. Again, great job.
