4-Down Podcast, Ep. 68: Aron Baynes and a White Elephant Christmas
So, over a 10-day stretch, the Spurs flew down to Mexico, got smoked out of a game, flew back to San Antonio, got fogged out of an airport, were rerouted to Dallas before making in back home, got whooped by the Pacers, flew all the way to Canada then down to Milwaukee and back to San Antonio, then flew out to Utah and currently find themselves in Los Angeles. Oh, and they’ve won four straight games.
It’s been a wild two weeks for the Spurs going all the way back to Tim Duncan’s game-winner against the Hawks on a Monday night. But outside of the beatdown at the hands of the Pacers, all has gone quite well.
In this episode of the 4-Down Podcast, Andrew McNeill and I discuss the week that was for the travelin’ Spurs as the team wrapped up a successful stretch of four wins in five nights. Also, the emergence of Aron Baynes, the subtle progression of Kawhi Leonard and just how the hell are you gonna have a white elephant Christmas with no stealing?
