4-Down Podcast, Ep. 83: Sam Amick of USA Today

by

Sam Amick joined me to reflect on the trade deadline and talk about life as a newsbreaker around the All-Star break, as well as discuss memories of his experiences around the Spurs.

We start the convo talking about the greater NBA, so if you’d like to jump ahead to more Spurs-centric conversation, you can find that in the second half of the podcast. But everybody loves the transaction game, and Amick is one of just a handful of national journalists who are breaking news consistently. So it’s worth your time.

Remember, you can subscribe to us on iTunes (here’s the link), which is probably the easiest way to listen. Let us know what you think — we’re always open to suggestions and criticism. We’re going to try and get a couple of these out a week, so we’ll keep you updated as we crank out more. Might even do a mailbag of sorts.

Hope y’all enjoy!

Thank you! A mailbag episode would be fantastic, in my opinion.

    Hi Mathew,

48 MoH has been a great site for Spurholics.

Next week am in SA to watch 5 matches (from Mar 10 to 20) all the way from Mumbai, at my age it is akin to ticking an item on the bucket list. Another, would be to split a beer with all you guys at 48 MoH?

  • Birdie

This will astonish, you, but we don’t all do Twitter. I’m really disappointed in what this site has become. Arrivederci!

  • San Diego Spurs Fan

The site has been dead since Graydon’s post declaring great changes…I think losing affiliation with TrueHoop was last straw. I’d recommend following some of the local beat guys - Mike Monroe, Jeff McDonald and Jabari young.

Cowardly that editors of this page don’t acknowledge that content here is basically dead. Graydon’s post at beginning of season very misleading.

  • AHeights

Agreed. No one clicks on a blog just so they can play a podcast. No one cares any more. They should let this site die a merciful death.
