4-Down Episode 15: Talking Spurs and sports with The Onion

by

Our latest 4-Down Podcast is a fun one. As a guest, Graydon and I had Seth Reiss from The Onion on the show. Seth is the man responsible for many of the stories The Onion has run about Tim Duncan.

And there’s a lot. As Seth mentions in the podcast, just search “Tim Duncan” on The Onion‘s website and you’ll get plenty of reading material.

On the show we talk about how those posts came about and why the Spurs big man is such an easy target for the newspaper. I also found out that Seth wrote one of my favorite stories from The Onion, a story about the draw of the sizzling fajitas at Chili’s. Seth also mentions one of his memories of Sean Elliott (which I think is the dunk at the 1:46 mark of this video) and we all go off on a tangent talking about sports in general.

Enjoy.
