Basketball Art for Boston

by

Tim Duncan and the San Antonio SpursIn the wake of yesterday’s tragic events, people all over the country are trying to find ways to help the victims of the Boston Marathon attacks. We can’t all be as heroic as the marathoners who crossed the finished line and kept on running directly to hospitals to donate blood or emergency personnel who rushed towards the sound of explosions, not away from them. But everyone has talents and energy that in some small way can make the lives of the those affected better.

With that in mind, we’d love for you to visit fellow Spurs blog Project Spurs and learn more about a group of NBA-minded artists who are doing their part to support the victims of the Boston attacks. Joseph Applegate, Bobby Bernethy, Nicholas Kastner, Michael McGrath Jr., Maddison Bond, Robb Harskamp, Dustin Watson and Jesse Blanchard will be donating all proceeds from their prints for the month of April to Boston relief funds. If you’ve ever thought about buying a basketball print, now might be the right time to do so.
