El Conclusion: Spurs explode for Game 3 win

Tim Duncan, PF 30 MIN | 4-7 FG | 6-8 FT | 6 REB | 2 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 4 TO | 14 PTS | +8
He wasn’t awesome, but he was good. He started off the game well enough, especially because he was drawing fouls on Miami defenders. He was a half second late closing on LeBron on a couple of the those 3-pointers, but at the same time if was he was too early LeBron’s blowing by him and since Boris was starting instead of Tiago, there was zero rim protection. |

Boris Diaw, PF 37 MIN | 3-6 FG | 2-4 FT | 5 REB | 3 AST | 1 STL | 1 BLK | 2 TO | 9 PTS | +20
Good call moving him in to the starting lineup, if only because it spaced the floor a little more and Boris can put the ball on the deck to help free up a shooter. |

Kawhi Leonard, SF 39 MIN | 10-13 FG | 6-7 FT | 4 REB | 2 AST | 2 STL | 2 BLK | 1 TO | 29 PTS | +19
Only 4 rebounds? Really? REALLY? |
|

Tony Parker, PG 33 MIN | 4-10 FG | 6-6 FT | 1 REB | 4 AST | 2 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 15 PTS | +12
Coach Pop said it best during when Tony came out. He didn’t score 30, but he held on to the ball and did a great job managing the game. Three or four years ago you’d never think of TP as a game manager, but that’s how his game has evolved. |

Danny Green, SG 21 MIN | 7-8 FG | 0-1 FT | 1 REB | 3 AST | 5 STL | 1 BLK | 2 TO | 15 PTS | +14
It’s an A+ because he was productive and only made one 3-pointer. Has Danny Green ever scored 15 points without hitting multiple 3s? His defense was also incredible. He was in the right place the entire time on defense. Can’t say we can expect that type of game again where he’s making shots at the rim, so enjoy this one. |

Aron Baynes, PF 2 MIN | 1-1 FG | 0-0 FT | 0 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 2 PTS | 0The Banger made an 18 footer. It was great. |
|

Matt Bonner, PF 10 MIN | 0-0 FG | 2-2 FT | 1 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 2 PTS | -5
Let Bonner Free Throw. |
|

Tiago Splitter, C 16 MIN | 2-3 FG | 2-2 FT | 4 REB | 1 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 6 PTS | +11
Solid, not spectacular. Finished at the rim, played solid defense. No complaints about what he did. |
|
![]() |
Patty Mills, PG 15 MIN | 2-5 FG | 0-0 FT | 2 REB | 4 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 5 PTS | +10
A good Patty game, but not in the conventional Patty way. |
|
![]() |
Marco Belinelli, SG 6 MIN | 1-3 FG | 0-0 FT | 1 REB | 0 AST | 0 STL | 0 BLK | 0 TO | 3 PTS | -4
He did hit one open 3, but he puts the Spurs in such a bind defensively with most Miami matchups. |
|
![]() |
Manu Ginobili, SG 27 MIN | 4-8 FG | 2-2 FT | 3 REB | 1 AST | 1 STL | 0 BLK | 1 TO | 11 PTS | +9
A nice chunk of the first half run came with Tim and Tony on the bench. Manu’s the conductor when those guys aren’t out there, so he gets a ton of credit for keeping the ball moving and making smart plays. |

Gregg Popovich From putting Boris in to the starting line up to whatever the Hell he told Kawhi, he pushed all the right buttons tonight. |
