Ian Mahinmi is Easy to Like

by

Some of you may have seen this already, but who cares? You can watch it again. Isn’t Ian easy to like? So stinkin’ happy, and all for a little burn.

After I saw this interview I really want to see him play more. He seems like such a great guy. They should just sit Ratliff most of the games or rotate with Haislip to get him more burn. If he plays decent against Lakers, he definitely should be getting regular time.

Wow, Ian seems like a great guy and very humble. This is obviously one of the reasons the Spurs drafted him.

i really see ian being a good piece to our puzzle. i was his biggest fan for a while because our team desperately needs some size and athleticism in the 4 and 5 spots and i wanted to see him succeed, but his underwhelimng summer league and preseason play wasn’t enough to earn him a spot in our rotation.

since we are starting to get out into transition, we could see more dunks like ian’s in the future. the question remains if he is capable of avioding foul trouble on a nightly basis and if there is an open roster spot. fin-dog and bonner will soon be back, so maybe theo needs to be deactivated.

good to see the young man shine. way to go, ianny!

I’ve never heard him before. He sounds like Tony! (Gee, I wonder why?) Yes, he’s very likable, and I’m so glad he had such a great night.

It’s great to see this new guy playing like he did! He is that tipe of player that stay good and work hard to be better, and all that work pays last night. And even more he is a very nice guy, humble - what is rare in this league - and also know that was huge in the game, but was just his first step. But bigger than all, he said that want to have fun, how nice would be if more guys wanted this?

Mahinmi needs to play more. His athleticism and length is sorely needed!
