Welcome back to 48 Minutes of Hell’s Little ‘Shop of Horrors, a weekly segment wherein I take Spurs-related tweets and turn them into terrifying Photoshop abominations. Today’s entries come from an amazing idea – Spurs x Griswolds – sent to me via DM by ESPNSA’s Ari Temkin and a tweet from the Express News‘ Dan McCarney, who has somehow become a mainstay (see here and here) of this bizarre recurring feature.     These posts are cute but should’ve been a mid-summer lull addition. Been coming back to this site less and less as there’s been very little content with substance. Season’s about to start and it looks like the there aren’t any writers. Unfortunate, as this used to be my go-to place for Spurs info.

    You’re right man. Used to come here almost daily because the writers had so much substance compared to the other sites, but the past two years it seems like this site isnt a priority in their lives, which is really unfortunate. Their playoffs/finals coverage the past two years has left me angry and made me switch primarily over to PtR which just doesn’t have the same caliber of writing as this site, but at least its updated several times a day. Wish we could go back to the days when these guys cared about their site. At this point I check it so rarely because I don’t want to give the page view to a site that doesn’t care anymore, but still come back occasionally because they are such good writers when they care to be!
