Spurs face Thunder on Sunday night in Game 1 of West Finals

With the Oklahoma City Thunder taking it to the Los Angeles Lakers 106-90 in Game 5 and closing out their second round series, things are all set for the Western Conference Finals. According to TNT, Game 1 of Spurs-Thunder will be on Sunday night at 7:30 PM Central Time at the AT&T Center.

The Spurs took the regular season series against OKC 2-1, although we all know that’s nothing to count on. Especially come playoff time. We’ll have some preview content coming up this week ahead of Sunday’s tip-off.

Will Pop play Dejuan? he always seems to have great games against OKC, or will he remain glued to the bench?

Looking forward to playing against the Spurs. They’re a great team that really plays the game the right way. And they’re fun to watch.

No matter what happens, this will be a good series for the Thunder. Either as a way to break through, or as a good learning experience. We just beat the last two teams to take us out in the playoffs. I’m not predicting we’ll beat the Spurs (the regular season seems to indicate they’re a bad matchup for us), but playing a team in the playoffs is the best way to learn how to beat someone.

Good luck to your team, and good health as well.
