The best story you’ll read all week

by

Remember the Israeli Gregg Popovich theme song that made the internet rounds a couple of weeks ago? Well, the Spurs — including Gregg Popovich — are well aware of it. In fact, they knew long before most of us. So much so that Stephen Jackson and Coach Pop played a goof on the rest of the team using said video back in the preseason.

“He was showing some film of me messing up, getting on me real hard. I was like, ‘You know what Pop, I don’t even want to play basketball. I’d rather do this. Kick it!’ And they played two of my videos. And Pop was like, ‘You know what? Don’t worry about it Jack. I got my own video.’ It was pretty cool.”

Big time kudos to Dan McCarney at Spurs Nation for asking Jack about the Pop music video after Wednesday night’s win over the Raptors, prompting the story.

Manu Ginobili showing no signs of being a great player again.

k, he did better towards the end of the game, but he needs to stop turning the ball over. Lately his only shots that go in are 3s. Still worried about him.

easy on Gino…..he still has the most insane vision on passing. His mind can play faster then everyone else still but his body cant move like the Ginobilli of old. that lead to parker down the lane…no one else throws that pass and connects it.
