Stephen Jackson out 4-6 weeks with broken pinkie finger
The Spurs lost another small forward on Monday, when Stephen Jackson went down with a broken pinkie finger on his right hand. Jackson is expected to miss four to six weeks of action the team announced.
Jackson got his hand tangled up in the first quarter of Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers in a moment that resembled last season’s hand injury for Manu Ginobili. Jack played through the injury for a couple of minutes and went to the locker room after subbing out of the game.
The Spurs are already without Kawhi Leonard for at least the next couple of a games, so the Spurs could look to bring in some small forward reinforcements with their available 15th roster spot.
