liked the cast, but the background noise is really annoying.

@James
Yeah I didn’t realize that much background noise got picked up. Won’t happen again.

I’m a homer, so Matt Moore was off my radar, but what a solid interview. I agree with everything that Moore said, except for his endorsement of NY and D’Antoni (which I guess is simply an endorsement of entertaining teams that will never triumph), and his lack of understanding of the options we had this summer regarding RJ, although true RJ is more polished than say a D Wright, but it doesn’t matter as Pop clearly had his mind made up about RJ anyway (which so far this season seems like a good move at the position, but still ignores the importance of P&R defense, and related issues facing SA).
On that note, Moore’s assesement of the issue of length is unfortunately accurrate, and I don’t know why Pop fell so in love with stretch fours, just because Horry was a unique player. Or why the league did in general when Horry is the only guy to ever really deliver championships with that type of offense (see: dallas and orlando).
Player development is a tragedy… and it’s too bad the likes of Speights and Bargnani can’t take it apon themselves to create the best situation for themselves, which is tough when you have millions of dollars influencing your priorities… Matt Moore for Assistant Commish!
